Your baby is crying. And you don't know why!
That's because babies don't talk. But can they?
The question is brought up in a most interesting discussion
in a new e-book entitled:
"Baby Sign Language and Beyond"

The author is Wendy Jensen, and she has, indeed, taught her
babies sign language!
This may seem a bit hard to fathom, but the evidence is there for all to see.
But first of all, why would parents want to each their kids sign language?
Sign language can help young hearing children to develop their English skills and more parents who home school are teaching sign language to their hearing children.
One parent wrote that American Sign Language grammar is closely related to the way young children speak. This mother, who was homeschooling her two preschoolers, taught her children one new sign each day.
- Kids communicate before they can talk. Tantrums are often caused by not being able to to their parents what they need or want.
- Kids learn most things by mimicking. Sign language starts them mimickingtheir parents at an earlier age.
- Signing is fun. Kids like to move around. Signing gets a toddler moving.
- Attention skills. Signing forces kids to watch the signs in order to "hear." This naturally keeps kids focused.
There are good reasons to teach children sign language. But can sign language really be taught to a baby? Wendy Jensen says YES. In fact she includes a video of her techniques when you download her book.
By the way, Wendy even offers a one half hour free telephone consultation with each parentwho purchases her book. Ever heard of that before? And she has some pretty nifty free
add-ons as well.
Some pretty compelling reasons why a parent would want to teach their children sign language
